Limited Hardware Warranty

Quick Heal provides a limited warranty for QHHS purchased in India. Quick Heal warrants that the hardware portion of the QHHS product described below (“Hardware”) will be free from material defects in workmanship and materials under normal use from the date of original purchase of the product, for the period set forth below

  • Hardware: One (1) Year
  • Power Adaptor: Six (6) Months

The maximum liability of Quick Heal is equal to or no higher than the product's purchased price. Quick Heal does not provide a refund under any condition. (Kindly retain your receipt as proof of purchase).

How consumer law relates to this warranty

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE, PROVINCE, OR COUNTRY.

Products covered by this warranty

Our policy is to offer product warranties and to perform services only on products purchased from an authorized QHHS dealer and only accompanied by a valid receipt or proof of purchase.

What this warranty covers

QHHS warrants its products contained in their original packaging against defects in material and workmanship when the products are used normally for their intended purposes.

PLEASE RETAIN A COPY OF YOUR PURCHASE RECEIPT AS PROOF OF PURCHASE to claim warranty.

What is not covered by th QHHS warranty

The warranty does not apply:

  1. If the product has been misused, disassembled or modified, used at high voltage, operated in inappropriate environmental conditions, warranty void sticker is tampered, not maintained well or has been subjected to any other similar situations.
  2. In case the product is damaged due to natural calamities including lightning, flood, earthquake or fire.
  3. A defect arising out of any failure to follow the instructions as mentioned either in the manual or product specification.
  4. In case repairs are carried out by unauthorized personnel or unauthorized source.

Your Responsibilities

You acknowledge and agree that you shall not, and shall ensure your Authorized Users do not:

  • access or use the product in any manner or for any purpose other than expressly permitted by the Documentation;
  • change, modify or otherwise create derivative works of all or any portion of the QHHS product;
  • modify, disassemble, decompile or reverse engineer any part of the Products and Services or apply any other process or procedure to derive source code of any software included in the products;
  • access or use the product in a way intended to avoid exceeding usage limits or quotas;
  • use the products in order to build a similar or competitive application or service;
  • remove, tamper with or alter any disabling mechanism or circumvent any technical protection measures associated with the product.

In order to obtain warranty service under this QHHS warranty, during the warranty period, as set forth above, you can submit a valid* claim to QHHS by:

  • obtaining an RMA number by contacting QHHS technical support;
  • returning the failed product to the dealer, from dealer to centralized location; and
  • providing QHHS with proof of the original date of purchase.

*returning device within warranty if warranty stands valid.

Quick Heal Responsibilities

As long as you fulfil your obligations under section “YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES” as detailed above, QHHS will repair or replace your product with the same or functionally equivalent product, at its discretion, free of cost in a period of 10 working days from when the claim is received.

This warranty will be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the country in which the QHHS product is purchased.
